Shanna Putnam Clark, 28, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Potsdam, and her
husband, Travis J. Clark, 28, Chicago. A Mass of Christian Burial for Shanna
Putnam Clark, 28, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Potsdam, and her husband,
Travis J. Clark, 28, Chicago, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church,
Potsdam, with Rev. Garry Giroux of St. Mary's Church and Rev. Francis Flynn
of St. Francis in Constable as co-celebrants.

The couple died Sunday, July 9, in Lansing, Mich., following an accident
with a wrong-way driver on an interstate highway.

Burial for Mr. and Mrs. Clark will follow the service at St. Mary's
Cemetery, Potsdam. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garner
Funeral Home, Potsdam.

Surviving Shanna are her parents, William and Kathryn Putnam, Potsdam; a
sister, Kerry, Chicago, who was seriously injured in the accident; two
brothers, Brian and his wife, Nicole, and Shawn and his fiancee, Kelly
Johnston, all of Boston; her grandmother, Margaret M. Curtin of Potsdam; and
a large extended family.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Putnam and C.
John Curtin.

Surviving Travis are his mother, Jane Clark, Kennebunkport, Maine; a
brother, Adam Clark of Ventura Beach, Calif.; his grandmother, Lucie Clark,
Elmira; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Theodore Clark.

Shanna was born Oct. 1, 1977 in Fitchburg, Mass., the daughter of William
and Kathryn Putnam. She graduated from Potsdam High School in 1996 and Union
College, Schenectady, in 2000.

She was a project manager for Huthwaite, Inc., Chicago. She was a volunteer
for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Chicago. She was known for her beautiful smile
and gentile personality.

Travis was born May 10, 1978, in Elmira, the son of Theodore and Jane Clark.
He graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1996 and Union College in 2000. He
was brother of he Chi Psi Fraternity at Union.

He worked as a group manager for he corporate affairs group of Weber
Shandwick, a public relations firm in Chicago. He was known for his sense of
humor and love of adventure.

The couple was married July 12, 2003 at St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid. They
were loved by their families and were kind, generous, great fun to be with
and will be deeply missed.
